Ok guys, I'm putting together what I want to be . . . . Factory Correct Brake & Fuel Line Clamp Kits for our Buicks. (I may include the Transmission Line Clip also shown in my photo)

The 1st "Kit" in the line up will be for the 1970 Skylarks / GS & GSX's.
These will work on 71 & 72 also and I plan to include the Passenger Side Clamps as well.

My question is, what color should the 3 that go towards the Rear Section of the Frame be??
I know one of them is blue - so this question pertains to the other 3 that are in the rear.
Seen in the middle section of my photo . . . . .

One other question, the 3 that go up front for the Front Brake Line are Green. This I know, what I don't know is the Green an "Army Green" like what I have in the photo or should it be more of an "Anodized Green" like sold by Inline Tube???
There clamps are almost a Green/Chrome or as I call it . . . Anodized.

    Thanks for the input!!

Look for these clamps in the very near future on my website (Chassis Page as well as my Clips, Clamps & Brackets Page)

Hey, not to hijack this thread, but since Duane did the motion car and posted pics of everything colored as they should be on that car, any chance you can figure out a kit for a 69 stepchild?

I should be able to. I can collaborate with Duane if needed as well. (Or Nick)

The green is clearish. like green paint over silver zinc plating.
The trans line clip should also be yellow. I've bought service parts that were incorrect army green.

Kinda like this? I had to make a few tweaks with 1/2” fuel line.

I'm not sure if the Red one you have up front is correct. I believe they're all green up front? I will admit after 30+ years I still learn something new from time to time so I could be wrong on that but . . . . .

Still waiting for someone that knows for sure to confirm the other 3) Clamps that go in the Rear of the Frame along with the Blue one!

    Anyone?

I recolored them what they were originally. However, they could have come off of a frame from a different plant.

There were definitely no reds on a 70-72. 70 had three green and 71-72 used just one green on top of frame passenger side. 70 had two more green on rear of crossmember under engine. In 71 the used a vapor line so they used bigger gray clamps in crossmember to hold brake and vapor lines. 70 California emissions used 71 style.

Brian that red looks like same clamp to me as green? Maybe it got hit with red engine paint when someone was painting engine? Thats my bet.

Todd, have you ever found the 71-72 crossmember style? It has to hold vapor and break lines.

It was pink colored, but was a clean red under the bolt head. It looks like the green clamps except it does not have the alignment tooth like the green ones. Yes,my other ones had 3 green ones. This chassis doesn’t need to be 100%,so I used it.

Yup correct. Same as two on crossmember under engine on most 70’s.
