    Not sure anymore

NAPA used to sell buick Red in high temp spray cans. I bought a can about 4 years ago. Just so you know, the buick red is a little bit orangish, not sharp red, incase some tries to pull one over on you.

    Otherwise try this

The buick red Josh is talking about is Napa pn DH1608. Since it is special order they woudn't let me buy a couple of cans so I had to buy a case of six. This is a nice red, a little dark once the paint cures but nice. I was told the surface should be super clean or better yet bead blasted prior to painting to ensure a good adhesion.

Unfortunately, I think the manifolds were left natural, which will rust in, oh, 2 minutes. You can get high temp paint from companies like Eastwood Tool in Pennsylvania. I've used their high temp manifold paint on my headers. My car's a driver and I've had the same set of headers since '98- no rust out, at least on the outside. I have zero leaks. I'll replace them next year I think, on general principles. It can be brushed on and you can get it in a silver color that's good looking. When the heat from the manifold or headers cures up the paint, the brush marks kinda flow together and leaves a nice smooth surface.

Glad you're sticking with the Buick 350, Chief:TU:

The Krylon engine color part number is "2114 Buick Red" and is a current number. It should be available at any jobber that sells Krylon. Some shops will special order it, but you might have to buy a case (6 cans).
