Well if it's like a big block it should be stamped to the left of the timing cover on the front of the block when looking at the front of engine block which is the passenger side. You will have to clean that area off to see it. I could look on my 350 block but I gave it to Mike to store it.
Let's try this. Block Cast # Year Displacement 1193724 61-63 215 1241748 68-77 350 1349430 62-65 198 1358435 64-67 225 1374547 64-67 340 1374557 64-67 340 1381621 64-67 340 1382201 68-77 350 1396314 64-67 225 1858435 64-67 225 25504744 75-77 350 366245 75-77 350 3914678 75-77 350 3932388 75-77 350 3970010 75-77 350 3970014 75-77 350 63724 61-63 215
Looking at the blk #s looking like a 1975 ish block carb intake look closer to 68: heads ? Can they be ID on car ?
Possibly a Jeep(Buick) Dauntless 350. They were called a 5.7's in some cases. Yours has the earlier style rocker arms and that would jibe with the years the engines were used in Jeeps.
