    The tip temperatures can cause detonation/pre ignition. Modern cars have microprocessor controlled everything. Carburetor cars aren't that precise.

    Yes I looked today & the distributor is the 1112109.

    To remove the TCS I just remove it & plug the hole correct?

    Mine does not seem to have an EGR valve.
