Hi all, this is a first time post for me, I have had a look about and cannot seem to find an introduction area so here goes. I am in Australia and have a 1964 Electra 4 door. I am loving it, but the back end is sacked out. I have spent a lot of time trying to find replacement rear springs. Does any one have a part number, or a cross reference from another model or even anything which may help? I do not need to jack up the car, just stock replacement would do. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your response, but they do not have rear springs, only front.

Call www.espo.com. She has the old paper parts books and is very knowledgeable about springs.

I bought mine from CARS the part number is CS350R. My car is a convertible but they should be the same.

The 1961 - 1964 BUICK Full Size REAR Coil Springs have been DISCONTINUED through all regular channels -- and ESPO Springs & Things KNOWS WHAT they are -- but they have
decided NOT to make them -- tooling up for them is too expensive to justify too few sales.....
cars uses a "generic part number" that means absolutely nothing to the REAL coil spring world.....
I keep 1 set in stock -- because no one else does -- but they are pricey....
and then, you are in Australia...... they are heavy, too --- do you have anyone here in the United States????

I have tried all the above and after some days seem to have located a pair at "autozone", but I am having some issues dealing with them due to being in Oz. If you ( mobile parts123) have some which you are sure will fit, can you shoot me a price? What is "pricey"? Our $ is low so anything seems dear at the moment :). We used to have two springmakers here in Sth Aust, but they have both folded due to folk buying cheap imports. At the risk of seeming stupid, what is CARS? I googled it with predictable results. Thank you all for your responses.

Ok,cool. I looked on cars and they do list the CS350R, Does this definately fit? Have you fitted yours to the convertible yet? I will check the site again to find prices etc. Thanks again.

I got a set for my 63 from CARS a few years back and they were spot on.
They are made elsewhere and drop shipped so you might yet have issues with the shipping.
