Electra-68 power window motor removal

  1. Hi there Buickfriends!

I have a question.....how do I do to remove a non working powerwindow motor? I have tried to find info on the net but there is only info about newer autos. I have this Fisher Body book but the only thing i found there is something about drilling three holes, i wish there was any picture that explain where I should attack with the drill so I dont mess up the door completly.
    Hope you got some ideas!
Thanks and greetings from Sweden, europe.
    HÃ¥kan.

No drilling! Mark the positions of the window tracks with a sharpie and loosen the window tracks. Then pull the glass. The motor is held in with 3 bolts. Are you sure the motor is stuck or could the switch be dead. Did you try to hot wire it?
