EFI?

    Thanks Larry. So that brings me back to my original question. Would I be better off replacing my Q-Jet with an EFI system, or rebuilding/replacing my Q-Jet? At this point, I have spent a lot of money trying to get this thing right, so the most economical way is more appealing!

    You'll spend more money going EFI, and if it works correctly, your air fuel ratio will be correct, but that may not give you the performance you are after. That engine is a low compression engine with cast pistons. I think a correctly built Q-jet will get very close to the EFI once the engine is up to temperature. I would send the Q-jet to Mark or Ken. See what you have. It may be a door stop, or maybe they can save it.
