Yup $15.00 gets you in AND in the show if you want to show/display your car. Can't beat it to be around your Buick brothers and sisters on a beautiful day! :)

Does anyone know if this rain is going to cause flooding problems at the track this weekend?

The track and parking lots drain well but we had heavy rain all day in a 3 to 5 mile wide area from below Baltimore up thru the track area into PA. I live on the west shore of the Chesapeake bay and as of 10:00 pm Thrusday , I have water all around the house with the water creeping in the detached garage and high tide is 1:30 am Friday morning.

I just ordered 100 soft pretzels from the Philadelphia soft pretzel factory for the AM! First 100 registered show cars get a free soft pretzel fresh out of the oven! :D Now that alone is worth putting your car in the show! Breakfast is served! Sunny and 70 tomorrow! Heading to the track now to watch some fast Buick's! :beers2:

Hope everyone had a great time today, I know many people set personal bests! The FAST guys really set the NEW records here at Cecil. Thanks to everyone that helped Nancy & I get this event off. I also want to thank our sponsors who gave us the $4500 in CASH payouts. We had a total of 140 cars in attendance & the bleachers were packed with spectators.
Thanks to JimC for organizing the car show with around 40 spectacular cars present & a special thanks to the great group of kids that helped with the special kids judging class we had setup.
Mark your calendars for next year for the first weekend in October.

What an awesome day it was a blast! The weather was picture perfect for a fall car show! Great turn out of cars. We broke all the previous records for the amount of cars in the show for this event! Thanks to everyone who came out and made the event what it was and made it a great time for everyone! I can't thank you guys enough for your support to the Buick community, Tri State Northeast Buick GS/GN club, and MAGNA! Thanks John C for having us and letting us add some MAGNA style to an already great Buick event! I can't wait for next year!

Thanks to all our volunteers, sponsors, vendors,(for the goodies to give away!) and special thanks to those of you who came out with your cars and showed them! I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as I did. Everyone seemed happy with the show and the awards. We'll make it bigger and better for next year for sure! I just wish I was able to catch more of the racing!

Once again thanks for your support guys and here are the pictures I took of the day for you to enjoy....

This was my first year attending and have to say i was overly pleased with the turnout of cars. some exceptional cars all in one place. It was awesome to see a 10 sec 4 speed nailhead! Maybe next year i can bring atleast one of the 69s down. thanx to all who made this happen!

Had a great time! Thanks to all who help make it happen!

Rick Miller had an even better time winning it. Congrats Rick! I tweaked his Dominator last week and then I redlight against him.

Anyone have any shots of my son Matt in my old SunCoupe? He ran 12.62 at 109 with 2.56 gears with a 1970 motor that has never been rebuilt since Buick built it and I put over 2000 passes on it. That thing amazes me more than my quicker cars but nothing amazes me more than those FAST cars running 9.80s at 139 on skinny bias plys!!!
