SO here's what i've got. 55 special 264 w/ dynaflow. I think the front pump on the trans is going. As you get uo to speed aroung 50mph the trans( or rearend) starts to whine and kinda of squeel. SO lound in fact that my wife can here it in the vehicle behind me. The whine usually goes away if i let off the gas and goes away if i keep a constant pressure(load) on the pedal. Then when i slow down to around 30 mph the trans (or rear) makes more of a loud humming noise until i step on the gas and then it goes away.
Any ideas???? I'm a little nervous about rebuilding this trans and or rearend.
I'm also unsure about what to expect with this torque tube stuff. Hey i'm new to buicks, what can i say except PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
