My four speed car is dying when the clutch is released in first gear. Idles at 1000. Runs quite excellent at wot. But is wants to die when starting out in first gear. To the point that chattering the clutch is very common. Has anyone had this problem? Frank
Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak Frank. The high idle is a tell tale clue. Even my 308S solid cam doesn't idle that high in neutral. And vacuum is zero at WOT, so it would run well
