Talking about the tri-spoke wheel that came on Electra/Centurion/Riv/Estate 1971-1973. Completely vinyl, rim and center section, front and back, excluding the (thankfully) removable plasticwoodgrain horn bar. I have a nice black one, want to make it blue. Any words of wisdom regarding technique, materials, etc.? I've read that SEM makes a nice vinyl dye, also Duplicolor.

    Thanks in advance!
    Steve.

    Steve,
I used SEMS products to restore a 80's Trans Am steering wheel. It is a very doable project that anyone can do. I purchased the correct cleaning soap, prep solution and color dye. Followed the directions and it came out beautiful. If you have a good wheel I would give it try. SEM's products are great.
