I am looking for PCV valve P/N that will fit my repop aluminum valve covers. The grommet that fits them has a smaller ID than the grommet from the steel valve covers, so my current PCV valve won't fit. I'd like to run the car this week so I am looking for a PCV valve I can find locally...like tonight. Any ideas?

it will fit if you oil it up and wiggle it in, tight fit but it will go in.

That's what I thought until I tried it lubed up and pushed the grommet out of the hole and under the valve cover. Luckily I was able to fish it out with a dental pick and patience, not that it would have been that bad to pull the valve cover. I'll try looking for a PCV valve with a smaller diameter nipple on the engine side at my local parts store if need be. I'd buy one from Russ but don't want to wait a week and pay $7 shipping for it.

The good thing is the new valve covers sure look perty :pp

I've found that NAPA P/N CRB 29209 will fit the dual quad valve cover grommet with a little work. The engine side hose barb is 7/16 inch compared to the single 4bbl PCV valve that is 1/2 inch. The dual quad PCV grommet's hole diameter is only a little over 3/8". I had to install the PCV valve in the grommet and then the grommet into the valve cover.

The original application for the CRB 29209 is many GM V6s and V8s including SBCs, so while the orifice is a size smaller than the PCV valve I used with the single 4bbl it should be OK.

Oh yeah, it also has a 90 degree elbow on the carb side which will make the hose routing better
