Has anyone stayed at the Drury Inn in BG? Is it NICE or a DUMP? I've been staying at the Hampton, but thought about trying to stay a little closer to the convention center, Mariott Courtyard, and Holiday Inn while not doubling the cost of my room. Thanks, Alan
Alan, actually it is a real nice place. I stayed there every year, until last year. I rolled in to town at about 3:00 AM after pulling a trailer for 13 hours. Very tired and ready to sleep, I went to check in, only to find out that despite my guarenteed arrival as a Gold Key Member, they had given away my room. I had to wait around for them to find me another room in town. Ended up across the street at the Clarion. Found out they had rooms the whole week, so I cancelled my reservation at the Drury, and stayed there instead. Another thing I know, is they won't honor any free room redemptions during Nationals. I try every year. Jeff
