Drive shaft safety loop.....pictures of what works for you would be appreciated

    I have a 3.5 inch aluminum drive shaft with 1350 u joints. Looking for ideas for safety loop. Would like to mount on cross member , not interested in drilling holes in the floors. Thanks

    There used to be one you mounted using the transmission mount bolts, but I haven't seen one in years. I think Steve Caruso might have sold it. Something like this shouldn't be hard to fab up.

    I believe the loop has to be 6" back from the center of the U-joint to be legal though.

    Metco has this, maybe you can modify it to fit?

    Thanks Larry. I believe it’s max 6 inches from center of u joint. I have a few ideas....similar to this
