I was driving home from my softball game tonight in the 69. Pulled up to a stoplight and a new Camaro pulled up next to me in the turn lane and the guy honks his horn. I look over and it was not a guy, but a younger girl. I rolled down the window as she complimented the car and said when she saw it drive by she said, "Damn that is sexy." Light turns green and she turns and I go straight on my way. Nice boost to the confidence. Later down the farm to market road I am at another light and it turns green and a yellow Chevy Cobalt goes flying past. Thinking nothing of it, I see the light in the distance turn red and the Cobalt's brake lights light up. I slowly come up to the light and see racing stickers all over the back window. Knowing that each sticker is worth 20 HP, I quickly calculate he is running about 400 HP. Normally I wouldn't have wasted my time, but the confidence boost from the Camaro girl and the sticker on his side window that said "Daily Driven", got the better of me. Why would a Chevy Cobalt have a sticker that says "Daily Driven?" What else would you do with a Cobalt? I don't have a sticker on my fork that says "To transfer food from my plate to my mouth". It is implied. The light turns green and I decide to do a 0-60 mph (speed limit of 60 MPH on the farm road) on the primaries only. I only brought the boost up to about 3 psi at 2/5th throttle, but blew his doors off. I laughed to myself as he changed to the lane behind me and did not get close to me again after that. Great ride home with the confidence boost and turbo boost!
