I'm new to the 350 world. I had a 455 for about 25 years. I want to make around 550 HP. Aluminum Heads. SP3 Intake. Maybe nitrous, maybe turbo.
What are the danger areas? What is required other than $$$$?

Essentially for NA your going to need more cid and Rpm, for boost or spray you can leave the CID as is ,..a decision will need to be made,...not that a N20 or Boost doesn't appreciate more cid but sometimes its simply not needed

Pretty much the same oil mods as the 455 engines.

The more HP you can free up by lowering friction brings you closer to your goal like solid roller cam, higher compression, thinner more modern rings and so on.
