Some cars are worse than others. My 98 Riviera is known for this. I use WD-40 on the seals, but it still happens depending on the conditions. Last night it rained a lot as temps were in the 40's, and by this morning, it was 22*. Sure enough, both doors were stuck. You can't pull on the door handles as they are not meant for that kind of stress, they will break right off. No wonder they are so common on E Bay,

What I end up doing is pulling the handle up and at the same time, I put a screw driver into the rear edge of the door, about halfway down, and gently pry. Works every time and I haven't damaged the paint or door yet.:)

I have this issue sometimes when it’s -30... I just use an auto start and once the vehicle is warm the doors normally open easy

I seem to remember GM recommended soaking a rag with spray silicone lube and wiping down the weatherstrip/sealing surfaces. Cleans the dirt that holds moisture and seals moisture out of the foam rubber. WD40 and oils should NOT be used, Armor-All might be ok but personally I don't like using Armor-All on anything

Use this https://boeshield.com. I use this stuff everywhere..... WD-40 is one of the worst. It attracts dust its gross ETC. Don't get me wrong I still buy and use WD- 40 all the time..
