Has anyone ever compared the interior door panels of a 71 Chevelle and Skylark?
I'm installing TMI seats into a"resto-mod" 1971 Skylark, and would like to use their off-the-shelf matching door panels. They seem mighty similar, but the devil is in the details. TMI seems unsure.

I may have to take the old panels and drive over to TMI in Corona to be sure, but thought I'd ask before I make the trip!

The front door panels would be the same size for the same models, that is door panels from a 2-door Coupe would fit other same year 2-door Coupes, but don't try to interchange a 2-door coupe and 2-door post model, because that won't work.

However I believe the rear door panels are different between the Chevelles and Skylarks. The rear seat dividers are different and so are the rear shelves (at least on the coupes). Either one or the other will be shorter front-to-back. Rear convertibles might work.

    They are expensive door panels.

haha! That might be true, but all that really matters is the shiny big block Buick under the hood.
