Jim, do a search on car-part.com and looks like all GM 2 doors were the same glass. 73-77 I did the search C & H Auto Parts, Inc. USA-MO(Kansas-City) E-mail 816-231-0008 Has a '74 Century that's closest one to you rest are way far!
Thanks Roberta! Just called them. He *might* have it, just has to go looking for it. I may just have to go there and buy it, just to hoard it until I get the deal worked out on the car. Definitely thinks he has the door glass, but the quarter glass he really needs to look at to be sure it's ok. Appreciate the heads up. I called a different yard and they looked it up on a national locator, and found one in NC, I think. I figured since nothing came up closer, I didn't even bother checking any other local yards. Just thought they were all connected on the locator. Will let you know how this turns out.
Ok Jim, glad to help, I got you covered on the rear quarter glass if he doesn't have, that should not be too much to ship.
The "fastbacks" use different glass than the formal Regal style roofline. Gotta make sure to get the correct type.
Stage2, are you saying the door glass is different between the formal and fast back style? What I'm looking for is door glass and quarter glass(large triangle shape behind door). Just to be clear, this is just like the glass on the 26k mile 75 Century that Rich Johns at Purestock Auto has for sale right now. Thanks.
If its the same as a 73/74 Malibu Laguna, I have one. $20 plus shipping from 02645. --------------- Eric
Yup. I put a set of '73 Gran Sport doors (fastback) on a '75 Pace Car (formal) and the glass is very different.
Thanks. I already have an offer from Roberta, but shipping is a killer. I may be waiting to pick hers up in BG if I can't find them local.
