Does anyone know a good car restoration place at a reasonable price?

The shop that did the resto on my 'Cat also had a pretty rare Imperial convertible they were working on, among other things. That car left the shop after being there a few years, having virtually every part handled in one way or another, with a 6-figure restoration bill. It is a stunningly beautiful car. I'm sure the owner of that car was surprised/shocked several times during those few years, but chose to soldier on and finish what was started. Why am I telling you this? Because if you're not prepared for the worst when having your car restored, you're not prepared at all. And, preparation is both time consuming and expensive.

Try Mike Garrison @ High Torque Racing Auto Body in Meriden, KS. (Topeka)

He's not the most expensive and he's not the cheapest, but he's a Buick guy and he knows his stuff. Really nice cars coming out of his shop. Several people on V8Buick have had their cars done there. Mine's there right now.

He can do a very nice driver, or a complete restoration, just depends on what you want.
