I am in Desperate need of a quart, Code 11, Dupont Lucite single stage Acrylic Lacquer paint for sale. I have a 1974 Apollo that the last owner Super-Glued the body side moldings back on, instead of replacing the 2-sided tape. When the moldings were removed, it took the paint off, except for the places that the glue is still on the car and will have to be sanded out. It's a 54K mile California car and I'm trying to get by without painting the whole car, and thus ruining the originality of a decent Cali car by having to paint the whole thing. I can get away by doing it this way by putting the body molding back on. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Depending on where you are, you should be able to purchase a quart from your local paint supply, for just that purpose. Alternatively, you get it online at http://www.tcpglobal.com/ I've purchased their lacquer products and have had good results.
