The wife and I were headed into Tampa when a guy in a mustang was doing 40 in a 60 zone in front of us. No big deal. I wait for the passing lane to open and then I kick it down to pass, when the moron kicks his down and keeps pace. I backed off and he tore down the road and around the next corner. As I come around the corner, I see a police officer tearing out of the brush, lights and siren blaring and pulls the mustang over. The wife and I just laughed and waved. -Josh

reminds me of the time my brother and i were in his friends blazer and we beat a stang in a race. The funny part... We won the race, and the stang got pulled over! I guess it pays to be quicker. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: -Jason PS - Good story!

A few years ago we saw a friend pulled over. As we passed, the girl with me waived and yelled "hey Paul". About a mile down the road 3 cops lit us up and pulled us over. Thought we were doing something I guess. No ticket though.
Kinda reminds me of football- It's always the second guy who get the unsportsman like conduct penalty, never the guy who starts it .. . Kudos!!:TU:
Good Job, that's what we have race tracks for. Of course none of us have ever street raced. Boy am I glad those days are over.
It's nothin until you go to the drag races in Brooklyn... and after you win the race, the car you just raced AGAINST (who lined up next to u and everythin) pulls you over and arrests you... (seen that happen).
I sound like a broken record, but Mustang owners are the biggest A$$holes and this story makes me smile!
I don't wish ill-fate on anybody, but sometimes when you encounter a DUMBASS on the street like that and they get pulled over, ah...... you can't help but smile a little bit. :bla: John B.
Good one Josh! Thats the type of thing you only wish would happen... Lots of times Ive been passed and say to myself "Where are the cops now" Or "If that were me, there'd be a cop around the next corner" I would have given you a high five too!:gp:
