Hi im lookin to do a front disk conversion on my 71 Skylark from old power drum set up dont have a lot of cash to spend so i was lookin into the scarebird conversion has anyone tried these and do they work?
I bought this setup, https://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-72-GM...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 complete, and all bolt on, only thing I had to buy was brake line adaptor. for rear brake line. you can hunt all over, and trail and error, or just bolt this on.
I got the same kit with plain rotors as mentioned above, I currently had power brakes so I kept my booster and purchased a M/C locally. The adapter for the rear brake line can be purchased from Oreilly's auto part #258307. I would also recommend this kit no fabrication
