On a 1970 front disc, rear drum Skylark, I replaced the rear drums with a disc brake kit from ssbc and the original disc/drum master cylinder with a disc/disc one from a 4 wheel disc 81 firebird. The 70 with factory disc brakes had a hold off valve between the master cylinder and the distribution block. Can I eliminate the hold off valve and use the original distribution block? Or do I need a new disc/disc combination valve?
My experience is that you will install a manually adjustable bias valve for the front/ rear brake bias.
