Hi all, I'm looking at swapping the drums on my 1970 skylark custom to discs, and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations? Good experiences with brands/types etc?

    Any info would be great!

    who not to buy from

I bought a kit from Stainless steel brake corp. They told me it would fit my 15" stock buick wheels. They did not, the calipers rubbed.

When I called them back they told me that I need to send the calipers and get them grinded down. I live in Alaska and shipping things back and forth is expensive. So I told them I could handle this myself, they said they would do what it took to make it right. After the fact I asked them about reimbusing me for 2 hours labor for the grinding. They told me I was sh#%& out of Luck and they do not do reimbursments for labor, this is after they told me they would make it right.

I am still trying to get the brakes working properly, Every thing from the master cyl to the brakes is new. They dont work any better then the old drums. Still cant figure it out.

Their customer support feels like they really dont care and cant wait to get off the phone so they can take a new sales call. :af:

    Dennis with no brakes....
