dipstick

    I have a 87 regal with a sbc 350 and the 2004r. can i use that stock trans dip stick with it. if so there is a spring like thing it the hole. any help will be most appreciated.

    Luke, if it's the stock 200-4R dipstick & tube, I don't see a problem. I don't know what "spring like thing it the hole" means.
