    No excuse!!!!! :Smarty:

    1) I'm going to miss the walking megaphone, but I'm going anyway.

    2) Same day as our city Christmas parade and I was suppose to work the whole Holiday at the Hall city event and parade. Told my boss I had a race to go to instead.

    3) I have no one to drive all the way back with on Sunday (I'm a big chicken to drive all that way by myself), but I'm still going.

    Soooooo...... :Brow:

Gee, I sneak away from work just to find I'm being talked about? Hmph! Well, no worries Phil, I know how stressed you must be, worrying about whether the Buick-B-Q will pass tech inspection...

Who, me scared of some itty bitty Oldsmobillies? Har, har, har. Only think I'm afraid of is maybe not having the steering wheel straight and accidentally driving over one. Did that once with a M*st*ng, and got a flat tire. :Brow:

The only consolation is that tonight I have a hot date with a *really* good-lookin gal named Linda. :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:

As for the cars the fastest street car was a GN -John Pekar - 9.74 (1/4mi) Dee's car was dying at the 1/8 mile marker even with a change of carbs is still is laying over at the 1/8th.

Sorry to hear abou Dee's car.Really thought the fuel pump swap would have taken care of that :af: Need to get it to Denton for a good test and tune session after it warms up.Seems like it only likes to die after it's made a couple runs. :Do No: Gotta be very frustrating :af: :af: :af:

What was the Buick v. Olds v. LesserCars outcome? :Brow:

Did some thinking.Maybe since the intake and exhaust are flowing good, possibly the heads need a little porting to open them up more or possibly a hotter ignition.Sounds like maybe the fuel is loading up in the combustion chambers and can't be expelled quick enough to keep it from loading,i.e. hotter and more spark to burn excess fuel or better flowing heads to expell exhaust quicker. :Do No:

Phil -- What was the most rounds made by a Buick?? OldsGirl made it to the fourth round before breaking out and she said she did not notice any Buicks still in the running.
