Just got her back. The drive was terrible and please excuse the mess trying to sell my house.

I think it looks amazing, especially the 68 hood. He gave me an sd card of all the work so I'll put that up when i download them.

    Looks excellent. :TU:

Did you remove the trim bars on the hood? I can't remember, but it looks like you copied the stripe that was there also?

Well that hood didn't have the trim, just the holes so i had him fill in the holes, then gave him creative license to do the black stripe and the pinstripes. I just wanted white and he offered to do the stripe and he went above and beyond what i expected.

The white lines line up with the trim tabs on the scoop which are white too.

I think he treated me really well on the whole thing.

I'll probably post a review on the site too of how impressed i am. I'm just really happy with it.

Maybe not show quality, but for me so stoked!

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. It's been a labor of love and some considerable cursing. Ha.

Thanks to gsfred I now have a radio that fits my car. The old one was a Kenwood cd player that I really did not like. I plan on setting up a hidden nice deck on a switch if I want to listen to something other than am.

So I gutted an 8 track player. Fabbed a bracket and I put the two radios on a switch that's mounted in the ashtray. It's a little rough, but I'm happy about the way it looks closed.

So, everything is in the shop. Putting all new to me gear in with a 284 cam. Hope to provide pics of the progress if I can. Just sent the carb off to Ken and got a new dist. From Jim. Motor should be at the machine shop this week and hope to get my complete ported heads back this week too.

Well. I got a wild hair and decided to build a center console. It came out ok. Not 100% happy, but I think it will serve it's purpose. What do you guys think?

Not finished but here is what I've been working on for the trunk. Basically modified plans that were designed for a chevelle. If anyone is interested I can provide cad or pdf plans of it. Not 100% perfect but good base to start with. The back panels aren't mounted quite yet because I want to put subs back there and not quite sure how I want to finish it.

Got the trunk and sound system all put in. RF 6.5s in the console. Tweeters fabbed in the old mono speaker. RF 6x9s in the rear powered by the smallest RF amp I've ever seen. Then 2 solobaric 12s in the rear with a jl amp. All hidden. It sounds so clean. I'm so psyched.

Also went with the poor man's dynamat.

Also done for the summer. Think I sweat my body weight the past 2 days.
