David may be 42, but he barely looks 30.......those North Dakota winters keep 'em well preserved, you know, for at least, what....about 8 months out of the year?!

    Happy Birthday, Davd!

    42?

I have to agree with Cole here... met David last summer (he was nice enought to deliver a fender for me :TU: ) and I am rather shocked to hear he is 42 today..

He looks younger than I do, and I have a month or so before I turn 36..:eek2: I figured he was just a young "whippersnapper"..

    Happy B-day David!

  11. hehehehehe... Thanks for all the warm fuzzies guys! Gee, I don't think I look a day over 2 months! Bet none of you knew that I was born a girl! :beer I got up this morning, and my wife handed me our puppy and said "happy birthday"...don't think I'm getting a 455 anytime soon...

    David's 455

    David

Happy Birthday, I'll tell you what, I have a spare 455 in my garage that I got in a trade. I have no Idea if it runs complete intake to pan. I am willing to give it to you if you can come pick it up!!!!!!!!!

  15. Re: David's 455

:eek2: WOW, thanks Chris! I could sure come pick it up, but I'm not sure just where I would put it once I got it back to Fargo... I barely have room in my single garage to park the 68, and still keep the snowblower between the car and the garage door...for those "occasional" blizzards we have here... My space situation won't improve for another 2-3 years either. Maybe I could haul it up to Jim's place, he could "freshen" it up sometime, and next year I could drive the GS out there for Jim to do the swap... Do you know if it will turn, or is it frozen up? Geez, I'm going to have to do some thinking on this deal...what to do, what to do...sure would hate to have to pass up on your very generous offer Chris.... :Do No:

I can check that out tonight, I need to run out to the body shop to check on my car. I will be home about 8:00, If Jim will let you take it there for now that would be really cool. Let me know what you find out. I would love to help you out with this:beer
I'm starting to feel like Santa!!!!!!!

Chris - If JW and David are able to work out the details, I'd be happy to swing by with the trailer to pick the engine up and deliver it to Jim. If you don't have an engine hoist, just let me know and I'll throw mine on the trailer before i head over.

Sure guys... bring it over.. I will add it to my "collection" until David has the time and $$ to redo it.

    No problemo..

  19. That would sure be cool, Cole... I'll have to have some discussions with Jim and see what can or can't be done. He doesn't have much storage space, I don't think, and I don't know when I'll be able to swing the $$ for engine work and the swap. It's my wife's turn for a large "leisure" expenditure.....

  20. Thanks Jim! What a guy! I have no idea when I'll be able to do anything with this... but I know I'll be looking for fairly stock specs. I won't be needing 500hp, stock to 400 would be just fine, cause I wouldn't likely be upgrading any other drivetrain components. This is just too cool! Chris and Cole, can you guys coordinate with Jim on this to get the engine over to his place? I owe you guys :beer :beer :TU:
