Not sure of the numbers Bruno and I'm not building a #'s matching engine. They may be interchangeable between the years, I'm not sure? I was hoping someone with better knowledge than I could fill me in? I will try and look up some numbers and maybe find a pic

Oh ok I appreciate you checking into it for me! The bracket doesn't look like the right one, the pots all look very similar but there must be a difference in them or they would be all the same not year specific??

The bracket from Parts Place looks correct. The plunger side rod needs to be long from my experience.

Hey BuickV8Mike do you know if the 70 and 72 455 use the same pot and bracket?

I do not. The dash pot rod slows down and bears on the Carb Throttle bracket. Therefore, if the carb bracket and the intake bracket mounting holes were similar I would think so. Don't you have a bracket to dry check things?

No my car never came with the dashpot or bracket. I'm assuming when the rebuild was done (by previous owner)and the performer intake was installed it got "chucked". I got it with a Holley 750dp but since went back to the 72Qjet

You can buy brackets used cheap. The dash pot likely cheaper once you get the number and have a NAPA discount. It must be a long shaft.

Yeh that's what I'm after trying to get a bracket and pot for cheap, I don't want to spend $100's on it in conversion (US to CAN$$) and shipping from online places.

Do you have an auto shop like NAPA to go try and buy the dashpot? I could likly sell you a bracket?
