I have one on my '85 El Camino, had one on a '79 Trans Am. They definitely aren't show quality, but really help a driver if you aren't willing to spend big bucks on it. It's kinda like Bondo under a budget respray-the casual observer won't notice and will think it's nice.

I got a DashCap for my 72' Skylark. It looks OK but it does not fit good. It looks OK from the front and it seems to fit the sides fairly well. Hoewver, the top is about 1/2" short so the lip does not fit down flush against the dash. I have been looking at trimming the facvtork dash cover shorter. Since this is an overlay the vents and trim will sit in deeper but looks decent.

Put one on a 85 F150. Sitting in the drivers seat it looked really good. However if you touched it you'd know instantly it was not stock. Painted hard plastic. The fit and ease of install were good. Drawback is if it sits in the hot sun it will deform.

Purchased a cover (hard plastic) from the Parts Place in Dekalb, Ill. Like Lou says it is about a 1/2 inch short. My son-in-law and I ground off the front of the dash until we got it to fit. I should have posted the pics of it while we were gluing it on. we used piant sticks to mount 12 pairs of vise grips and C clamps to hold it in place while the glue dried. Unless you are a Buick guy most will not have a clue it has been changed. As Lou said, the vents do not fit as they should and may be difficult to get out esp. the one in the center.
