    Along with some of you, I recieved the following and thought I'd pass it along, to everyone that knew Dan, either on a 1:1 basis or through this Board.
    His Humor & knowledge will be missed.

    Dear Friends & Family of Dan,
    My brother, Dan, passed away unexpectedly yesterday morning at his residence in Hot Springs AR.
    Preliminary autopsy indcates a heart attack, but it will take a couple of weeks before we have all of the results. I will send out a follow-up with more details, but wanted to get this out quickly so travel arrangements could be made.
    WAKE: Friday 12/2 @ 5:30pm
    Gross Funeral Home, 120 Wrights St. Hot Springs AR 71913 (501-624-1244)
    Funeral:
    Saturday 12/3 @ 10 AM
    ST.John the Baptist Catholic Church
    589 W.Grand Ave. Hot Springs 71901 (591-623-6201)
    Cemetery: Directly after the Funeral (Location info pending at this time)

    This is very sad news. RIP Dan. He loved his 66 GSs and would always share what he knew with the board. He will be missed on the board.

    Really sad news to hear. Always enjoyed talking to Dan K and getting emails from him. He had a real passion for the 66 GS's and he will be missed.

    Yes, difficult news to hear. Dan was quite the enthusiast and a heck of a nice guy. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
    I first met Dan over 25 years ago at the GS Nats. I had my blue '66 and Dan had his blue 4 speed '66. We hit it off right away. All these years later, and we seem to have followed the same path in life with our cars.
    Gonna miss you buddy.

    Sorry to hear the news, Dan was a nice guy. Our prayers go out to Dan's family. God bless.

    Dan was my first contact in the Buick world. Although I never met him, I will still miss his knowledge and insights.

    I will miss his wit and humor ,he was a real asset to the BUICK world,never forget that brake torque in his stage one vert in vendors row a few years back a massive cloud of white smoke ,rest in peace my buick brother

    im shocked....i just sold him a 4 speed carb for his car just a week or so ago...wow..im shocked...
