Glad to help, just keep in mind its going to take a long time and its going to be a ton of work. Walk away when you are feeling frustrated and don't be afraid to take breaks from the process to gather yourself together. 1 bolt, section or small project at a time add up!
Well listen to you, passing along advice to be PATIENT!!!!:eek2: :bla:  Whats next?? Hell feezing over?? Dogs and cats living together in harmony?? Lower taxes?? Hahaha:beer
Smashing that gun was for medicinal purposes.. I felt way better after that On a more constructive note.. Paint is scheduled for June 1st. Which so happens to be my 3 year anniversary of joining this board.
Yer gonna put slime on your car after all that hard work ?!?! I call shotgun for the first 1320 adventure
Dangit Alan, you would bump me out after all the hours I put in that car!!! But maybe we can barter for a trip down the track in big red....
Justin, I just found this thread. Wow!!!!!!!!! I am impressed with all your hard work. The paint should come out better now that you have a decent spray gun. Dave
Well it sure beats the scratchy grey stuff that's on there now I have to give Shawn props for coming up with the name of the paint. Ill let you 2 hash out the details, but I'll do what I have to in order to take a ride in big red! Thanks Dave, its been an adventure for sure. And Yuengling just happens to be the official drink of this build! I hope to update Friday, that's when the jams will be getting done
Lookin' Good !! should really POP once you grind down some elbow cartledge ... ... just remember its not color sanding or polishing its KARATE LESSONS !!
Alan, I think taulb's already pretty proficient at that wax on wax off thing.....or something like that.
You boys keep up the fine work you're doing and you'll be wiping up alot of drool .. or something like that uzzled:
Hopefully just drool! Put the hood, decklid, doors, and fenders back on today and adjusted gaps. Bled the brakes and tested out my 2004R, having some major pressure issues so Ive decided to toss the TH350 back in so I can drive until I have enough cash to sort out my overdrive trans. I was having a good day till that happend. :spank: Paint in 6 days! Found some low spots on the fenders, had to bust out the fill and paint gun that I thought I put up for good. Blah.. On the plus side it feels pretty good to start putting things back together. Back to sanding..
Busy busy day. Interior is all together with the exception of the door panels. Need them off to get the outside latch back together. 50 sq ft of fatmat was installed to help quite the ride. Time is about a quarter-past-I-need-a-beer. So I'm off too relax.
