Brian, I pieced together my PCV setup with a standard GM valve cover grommet, and a PCV valve for a '63 Wildcat. Your local Napa or Autozone should be able to hook you up.

Andy, what did you do with the draft tube? Just remove it and plug the hole?

I removed the road draft tube and used that hole for the grommet and PCV valve. It was a perfect fit.

Yep,,, and you just need a opening the size of the opening in the pcvalve.....

The bottom of the PCV valve needs some kind of baffle over it to keep oil from splashing/being sucked up into the valve. I've seen pictures of this application but can't put my finger on one. Having never looked at a valley cover with a draft tube, perhaps the factory built one in.

There's a "Mesh" built into the original using a draft tube.

Not sure what I was thinking last night...for some reason I thought you had put yours in the valve cover. Looking back today, I have no idea where I got that idea from. Are you using breathers in both valve covers?

Sorry, should have been more clear. Still using the factory breathers in the valve covers. Just removed the road draft tube and stuck the grommet and PCV valve in its place.

Thanks. I don't think it was you. I'm pretty sure it was just a lack of sleep affecting my brain.
