SNAP-ON, Nothing else even comes close.

There is a Huge difference in the way the tools fit your hand, hold up day to day, and rarely, rarely ever break.

The new Dual 80 fine tooth ratchets are the Shizznit!! 80 gear teeth means that you only need 4.5 degrees of movement to use the ratchet, and they are strong enough to hold a minimum of 250 ft. lbs. of torque.

If you don't own one yet, try it, you'll love it!!

 It only costs a little more to go first class.

    There is a Difference. :TU:

Hey Jason I was reading all the stuff I could find on vintage Snap On ratchets and ended up on your Buick site and I read where you work for Snap On so I wanted to ask you a question. NO not can I have a discount:) I have a very old 5/8 ratchet and would like to know what the markings mean on the front of the ratchet near the drive gear. Can you email me a list of what year matches what symbol? This doesn't have a lever to reverse the drive on this one you have to remove the gear drive and put it in from the other side. If it helps I can email you some pics so just let me know. How can I find out what it's worth? I would either like to sell it or maybe trade it for some new pieces. Since the 5/8 drive is no longer being made what do you suggest? Thanks for any and all help in the matter you can offer. ben dixon

Snap-On for Ratchets. Ingersoll Rand for air tools, Craftsman for Wrenches, S-K for sockets.

    How's that for a preference? Blue-point for screwdrivers. :)

As a shadetree mechanic I use Craftsman because they are reasonably priced, usually can get the job done, and have lifetime guarntee. If I was a proffessional mechanic I would own Snap-On or MAC Tools. There is definetly a difference.

well since I graduated from School in sept 07, the VA purchased me a complete set of Snap on tools. But now since I am not working in the business anymore my tool box is gathering dust in storage. At least I have them when I need them

I have all brands in my many boxes. Craftsman , Snap-on , Mac , Cornwell , S-K , Indestro and Pittsburgh.

I use whatever will get the job done. Sometimes Craftsman is the best and other times I have seen Harbor Freights Pittsburgh brand out perform The highly overpriced Snap-on.

I suppose its the skill level of who is using the tool.

My boxes are filled with Snap On, Mac & Matco. I might have a few Craftsman screw drivers.
