Im in search of the proper vacuum routings for my AFB on a 66 401 Nailhead. Maybe its already hooked up correctly but I dont have much trust in the previous owner.

Its running an aftermarket 9 air cleaner and currently has the PCV routed into the back of the carb and the vacuum advance routed into the front passenger side. The 3/8 port on the front is plugged. Then on the passenger side upper rear is something plugged with a bolt, possibly a vapor vent? Everything else is opened up.

There is also a small drip coming from somewhere on the driver side. Maybe its time for a rebuild kit?

I just wanted to be sure everything is hooked up correctly so I can get the tuning dialed in.

    Thanks all

Correct.... PCV in the back, distributor advance on the lower front.
Original carb doesn't have a 3/8" port on the front.
The tube on the pass side upper rear just below the carb opening is for the choke warm air supply. It would be a 1/4" steel line running to the little tube in the pass side exhaust manifold, in the rear. The front of that ex manifold tube would connect to the choke housing on the carb.

If you don't have a '66 Buick Chassis manual yet, there's one online at www.teambuick.com It's in the 'Reference' section. You have to be logged in to view it.
