Well, the newer cars you have to step on the brake to make them start or to shift them out of park. Was hoping he wasn't quite up to speed on having to do that, but sounds like he might have it figured out already hahaha....... EDIT: Buying a whole running but ugly beat up car would definitely be the way I'd go if you can. Make sure you can drive it first and everything works.
Its a FWD.. Put it out of its misery. Find a 90-93 B-Body them TBI motors last forever.. 240K on mine and showing no sigh of weakness.

I live in the sticks so not very much city stop and go. I get a constant 16.5 No realfree way driving around here so I can’t really can’t tell you a honest answer. One thing for sure it’s a piece of cake to work on. I did buy the Chevy version which is about the same as the Buick. Although the RM has much better front seats than the cheap cheby seats Yes I got my eye out for a rebuildable RM TOTL seat
