Correct has few different meanings. They are dated based on their manufactured date I believe.

Send me an email to jnrlumb@juno.com I took pictures of my jack original to the car. the base has an A B on it, the horn has an A and the jack has a patent number. When I get your email address I will forward the pics. May be late today because of the holiday.

Most of the 70 Bumper Hooks have "U70" stamped on the inside. The stalks are also date coded, with the month and year.

    No,
The Olds hook has a totally different shape with a rubber pad on the front. They are made to fit different bumpers.

I don't know if anyone ever figured that out, I never did any research about that.
I know most of the 70 Buicks seemed to have the "Y" shape, but I have seen some with the open style too.

I have a "9J" (Sept. 1969) stalk for sale in the for sale section. I also have an open one for a 72 model with the base.

Yeah, I thought about getting that for my January 70 build date. But I already had an A-B base with and 0A stalk but a U71 j hook. I managed to find a U70 j hook to complete the set.

Here are pictures of the codes on my 70 jack components, which I believe to be correct for a 1970 car. If not correct, please let me know.

2 more questions if I can: Where does the 70 jack instruction decal go?
And this is from a 72 decal - is the 70 the same for storage? (70 decal does not show storage) Front of tire down, etc?

I’ve seen flint cars label on the left window of trunk lid and KC cars on the right window. There’s was a thread I can’t find that said ask your 5year old to run @ the trunk and slap it on and close enough.

lol - Now is the 70 the same as the 72 for storage? Looks like it should be.
