I'm looking into the idea of raising the rear of my 225 a couple inches to compliment the motor I'm building for my 70 Electra. I am thinking of adjustable air shocks with a coil over. Has anyone tried this, what did you use, and how much did the rear rise?
Sorry, late to the party... the Old '70 hardtop that I had in the '80's I put bags in the rear springs to lift it up a bit. Better than air-shocks that I have on the ragtop right now. Look here: http://www.stengelbros.net/60755-Air-Lift-1000-Air-Spring-Kit-_p_927.html
I put coil over load levelers from Monroe on my 73 riv. Came up about 2 inches. Mind you the shocks on it we’re shot.
