If you use UPS go to this site to calculate shipping cost - http://wwwapps.ups.com/calTimeCost?loc=en_US
All you need is the zip codes of where the item will be shipped from and to and the weight of the package.

I will take three frames. I will get a postal money order the first of the week. Please PM your address to me so I can send the money order. Thanks!

    Jamie,
Do you happen to have the original Dash Speaker out of the '69?

If you could send it to me, with the speakers that you'd like mounted, I could compare them to the ones that I build, or copy the dimensions of your original speaker if it is different, and still end up with what you need for your car.:Smarty:

I don't want to quit my "day" job (which is actually On Call 24/7, All Day, Every Day, NO Holidays or Weekends OFF)!:Smarty::laugh: ), because I LIKE it too much!
I get paid for DRIVING MY OWN CARS, as an Independent Driver for a couple of local delivery companies!:3gears::bglasses:

You know that the $$$ goes back into the Buick?
Am I really that obvious?:TU::laugh: :beer

If you were to retain the stock radio you would be better off buying 2 four ohm speakers and running them in a series to produce 8 ohms (which is actually more near 7.2)

it would still be a mono speaker, but with 8 ohms it will produce a little more sound without overloading the radio.

of course you could run 2 dash speakers and 2 kick speakers on th stock radio by making a series-parallel connection

I'm interested upgrading the front speaker. Is this forum still active or can someone point in another direction. I have the stock speaker removed as part of my dash restoration project and I'm ready to order a new speaker....options please?

    Thanks

TurnSwitch has some neat options for upgrading the radio to modern electronics but keeping an almost completely stock look. I would keep my stock radio on the shelf and I am considering getting another core radio and having them convert one for me.

Has anyone on the board bought one of their STOCK looking UPGRADED radios. I would like to hear about the quality of the sound.

    THanks!!!
