Maybelline taking a break. She wasn't too happy about the elevation changes and I didn't have any extra jets.

Glad to see you made it back! Looks like it was an awesome road trip!

Shelby Trim does tops, they're kind of expensive but I hear they do good work, I think they're in Sterling Heights now off of Mound and IIRC around 17 or 18 mile rd?

If you need any engine work done Enginecraft is in Goodrich just to the north side of Ortonville, Dave does great work.

Welcome back, maybe I will get to see your new toy in person some day?

Yeah I know Dave, he has done an LS1 for me and an LS2 for a friend.

I live in the slums of Rochester Hills.

That's cool you know Dave! He does really good work, I have known him for over 20 years and he has been doing my machine work since, I do a little freelance work for and with him sometimes as well.

I made all his block milling spacers for his head and block mill, so now you don't have to mock the engine up and measure the 4 corners anymore. All he has to do is install the spacer size for the block he is going to mill, indicate the spacer in level set the block on the spacers on the main housing bore and he can now cut the deck parallel to the mains without having to do all of the mock up measuring nonsense. I didn't like when he told me I had to do all that mock up and measuring so I fixed it for me, I mean for him. :Brow:
