Convert 8.2 to posi

I was wondering what it might cost to covert my 8.2 to a posi unit

I bought an Auburn posi from Jegs- $400 or so. Kept the same gears and the install was $160.

I have a eaton brand new posi if you are upgrading to 3 series gears 3.36 and up 450.00 super strong and rebuildable down the road 30 years from now...lol Hopefully it will take you that long to wear it out. It all depends on the parts and the shop (or do it your self) prices labor. I charge 150.00 for set-up labor out of the car. 300.00 in the car...much more of a pain. gears after market will run 250.00ish posi from 350.00- 600.00 . bearing kit 100.00 with axle bearing and seals. add it up.
