    hello all
i have an 87 regal with a whimpy 3.8 a code. i was given a running 350r code and th400 tranny out of a 1975 seville. I want to rebuild the 350 to 1969 stock specs (375 hp stock at the flywheel) and the th400 and stick them in my car. do i need to take the motor frame mounts off of the cadillac frame and place them on the regal frame or can i just move the regal frame mounts. i know that the engine mounts can be used off of an 87 regal with a 307y code so there is no problem there. the cadillac shell will be going to the smelter soon so i need to know about the frame mounts.
    thanks

(from 110 bhp to 400 hp...... this is going to be fun)

Yes it does. A buick 350 would have used the 3.8L motor mounts and frame pads; an olds 350 will require the motor mounts and frame pads from an olds-engined car. I'm not sure if the '75 pads will work; I'd just get a set from a 307 G-body, because THOSE will for sure.
