Today was the Texas Concours 'de Elegance for the second time in Arlington, TX, home of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers teams. Concours in held on a green park belt that runs between the AT&T Cowboys stadium and Globe Life Park Rangers stadium. I will post more photos of the actual concours cars sometime this week. Decided not to enter the 1932 Buick in the Concours this year since last year I did and they awarded me best of class which I certainly appreciated. In addition to the Concours, they have a car corral that is a bit unusual in that everyone who pays their $50 to get into the Concours has to walk through the car corral and vendors.

This year the car corral was cars and truck lined up along the walkway to the Concours so you could not miss them and you get in the mood to see cars as you walk along the concrete pathway. It was a pretty long walk and they had carts moving people back and forth but there were a lot of walkers and lookers.

I took the 67 Sportwagon GS400 clone and had a bunch of nice comments and folks wanted to stop and talk about the station wagon they grew up with in their family. Cowboys stadium in the background. Lots of fun to be a part of it all and even had my wine cooler in car at the tailgate window behind the third seat so I could share Merlot and Chardonnay with friends and enjoy the event.:)
