My Glock 42 is simple perfect for summer concealed carry, but recently picked up this sweet Glock 43 in Battlefield Green. Still conceals perfect and shoots great! I thought CT was tough, but you NY and MA folks have it rough!

My wife has gotten use to my everday carry, but there was a time when she would ask me if carrying in the house and on the property was necessary. I would alway reply, " last I heard, home invasions are at home, thats why they call em that. "
My Rottweiler, cameras, fences all help to deter, just like that G19 I'm sporting in plain view while mowing the lawn. I'm attempting to send the message, not this house scumbag, keep moving, looking for an easier target/victim. No victims here....Jim/Rott

I have been looking at the 45 cal. Kimber CC. thoughts ???
STAINLESS ULTRA RAPTOR II[IMG]UltraRaptor II Stainless
Raptor pistols take their name from a combination of aggressive slide and frame serrations, feathered logo grips and special scaled texturing accents. While this patented design is unique, the features, dependability and accuracy are pure Kimber.

Kimbers are AWESOME 1911s. I like the Raptor grips, they provide good grip without being too aggressive.

Proud owner of the new Glock 19X. This is indeed a different type of Glock. Limited run of these I am told. It's a beauty! They call it their crossover? It's a G19 slide on a G17 receiver. Suppose to be 3 19 round mags, but ofcourse this is Connecticut, so only 10.

Don't get too jealous, fellas....I've got $170 into all three of these peaches. Maverick 9mm, Hi-Point 9mm, and Hi-Point 40. They're not replacing my revolvers, but there's one under the seat in each of my nice cars now permanently. Sexy.

Man, I always like 99.9999% of your posts, but you're Killin me with this one smalls!!!

I'm far from a gun snob, ask anyone that knows me. I worked at a gun shop for a while and carried my taurus pt99 a few times just to piss off the snobs! Then I'd Carry my 226 Legion or HK the next day just to confuse them!

But I draw the line at hi points/cobras/Ravens/etc man, I just can't do it....

I couldn't, either, but I couldn't pass up $170 for 3, they all work great, and I can take them snowmobiling in my backpack and not worry. Shooting rabbits and huns in the fresh, white powder is something a guy has to experience, plus it's a good idea to have something when you're in the woods to get food if you get stranded and it's -10 degrees...............My other stuff I'd never take, as my backpack has tools, shovel, saw, etc. and whatever is in there gets beat to s***. Plus, I get to feel like a "gangsta":eek::D

I still maintain the Taurus Judge magnum with Winchester Home Defense .410 load or new Judge Governor with the Lehigh “mess makers”. I’m going to try some of the Lehigh rounds in my Judge

    1) I work in the middle of Chicago
    2) It holds my pants up ...or else I be sagging

As long as you understand why they were $170 for all 3, then I get the "funny haha" aspect. And working in the shop, don't get me started on the "gangstas" and hi points, I've seen enough of that for one life time!! Different strokes and all, but those things were often synonymous with trouble while being the range officer on duty. "No sir, I need you to hold the gun vertically, sideways is inaccurate and your bouncing rounds off the walls...." :eek:o_O:confused:

During the summer when it's shorts and T-shirts, I pocket carry a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380. When wearing heavier clothing or a vest, I OWB carry a S&W Shield 9 mm or a Kahr CW45. The Kahr is also my car gun.

    For Michigan CPL holders:

A new Attorney General opinion was issued on 6-20-18. You can read it here:
    http://www.ag.state.mi.us/opinion/datafiles/2010s/op10383.htm

For those who don't know, Michigan is one of only 10 states in the country which requires pistols to be registered.

For those who already knew this, here are the cliff notes of the AG opinion:
If you have an out of state concealed carry permit, you are exempt from registration. You can throw your RI-60 form in the trash.
