To own a personal protection gun, there comes great responsibility...I am not looking to go out and find trouble, but I plan to be prepared if trouble and I meet...

    ^^^ Absolutely!
And using for self defense could have severe consequences. Not only legal, but financial if you end up getting sued.
In some cases a method less severe, such as mace or pepper spray, may be enough to stop an attack.

The Sig 938 and Springfield 911 are near identical, even the mags are interchangeable! All are clones of the Colt. Kimbers sure are beautiful guns, been admiring them for some time.

Here's one to get you purests' goat! Pieced this together just to be outrageous and different. Polymer80 lower (with custom serial number) and a conglomeration of random extra parts/aftermarket stuff. It's a "Gucci Glock" with little to no actual Glock parts!

My first build...Bought a Glock model 23 Gen 3 stripped lower, added extended releases and stock trigger assembly. Then I added the Tactical Solutions .22 conversion upper. Just ran 2 clips out of it with no misfires..It's going to be a fun gun to shoot and cheap to shoot as well.. 20200210_112004.jpg

I picked this little fella up for a very fair price recently. I haven't really carried it, but it would suffice. It's a 1977 model Smith and Wesson model 36 (no dash) that shows very little use, it's super clean and tight.

    IMG_20200301_172930358.jpg

I also picked up a Ruger charger (10-22 pistol) and put it in an Enochs chassis with a sig mpx folding brace. It's a blast to shoot, super compact and suppresses well. (Please excuse the messy bench, it's been since cleaned up. Haha)

Anyone ever order from a company called Paragon?
They always had dirt cheap ammo. Some was seriously in bad shape.
I remember buying 5k of 556 for like $250. Or some cheap azz price. It was a mix of everything ever made and some was dented.
I cleaned some up one time and went to the range. Probably out of 100 rds 20 were tracers. Lol

I've heard Paragon being mentioned a few times lately. I haven't followed up on it, so don't have details to share.
The ammo and gun shop business has been insane since the Covid-19 s**t hit the fan!
Academy has been pretty good on maintaining reasonable pricing lately on Ammo. Cabellas and Bass Pro have been taking orders.... and cancelling them. Sportsman's Superstore has been pretty good. Most local gun shops in my area are now appointment only.
Future ammo prices are likely to go up due to the demand/supply situation. I check in on the Facebook Mrgunsngear page to keep up on the latest deals.
