Im actually looking for a pocket carry gun. Something like a baby Beretta maybe in a 25 ACP.

I have an LCPII and carry it about 90% of the time I'm out. I keep it in a wallet style holster in my back pocket so it prints like something harmless.

Mine was picky about ammo but after auditioning several different types for range and carry use I found that it likes PPU hardball and Hornady Critical Defense hollow points 100%.

If you want to pocket carry type pistol that's a bit less "snappy" try one of the little Kel Tec pistols in .32 acp. Just bought one of those for my mother in law last year after her 40 year old RG .25 had a rusty spring fall (disintegrate) out of it. The .32 is lighter than the RG and even an 86 year old woman can handle shooting it.

    I'm in the market for a Kel-Tec 3AT 380 as well

The P-3AT™ is the original With six leading innovations, it's the lightest .380 Auto pistol ever made. A semi-automatic, locked breach .

Love my Keltec p32 for pocket carry. 12 oz, can't even tell it's in my pocket. Only thing is the 11 lb trigger pull. It sure wont go off by accident in yer pocket.

You guy are OK in my book and don't take this the wrong way but I worry about people who load up on guns when younger and sane but then when they start geezing or there is an emotional trigger (no pun) may snap. Had an uncle that before he went to hospice he was waving his guns around and doing wacky things due to dementia. Took all his money out of bank and put under mattress and stayed up all night guarding it. Almost shot his daughter once when she came to visit.
Never had so much as a traffic ticket in his life......

    It's called family intervention.
No different than taking the keys away when people are no longer capable of handling the responsibility.

.....as long as the rest of the family isn't in similar mental state...or even that there is family.....

I'm hiding my keys to my cars now......

Not for concealed carry, but I couldn’t go home without a new pistol (Yes, that’s what it’s classified as per the FFA) yesterday for some reason. It eats 5.56 and whatever is in front of it...

Old people like that are more likely to die falling down the stairs than shooting themselves or someone else. It’s a very tough thing taking a productive persons freedom and way of life. We are dealing with that now however not guns.

If anyone want a great deal on a light, OLight is having a flash sale on their brand-spankin new PL-Mini 2. This model has a higher 600 lumen output vs the 400 of ver 1, is shorter but chunkier, and features an adjustable mount. Ideal for shorter barrels.
Sale is for 30% off list price of $89.99, so $62.99. Sale starts tonight at midnight, runs thru Mon 1/28.

Here's my new CZ P-10c. I added Talon grips and the ver 1 OLight PL Mini.
CZ just released this model in a full size (P-10f) and a sub-compact (P-10s). This P-10c is the compact or mid-size version.

I put away the P99 and picked up a PPQ M2. A bit heavier but 11 rds of 45 acp is nice.

Had a KelTek P3AT with several ftf and fte's. Never again.

Worst quality, worst accuracy, worst reliability handgun I've ever owned. Sold it as quick as I could.

For those interested in the fluff and buff: http://www.ktog.org/tecwerks12a.htm

Any handgun that needs a 'fluff and buff' right out of the box, just to get it to function correctly is NOT worth trusting my life with.

I Highly recommend getting a better quality (which is just about anything else) pocket pistol, unless its just a range toy Not to be carried for protection.

I love my SeeCamp 380. Precision machined, never had a failure. http://www.seecamp.com/products.htm
Yes, it cost a lot. Worth every penny.

There's a reason P3AT's are so inexpensive. There are certain things you don't compromise on quality and reliability. A personal protection firearm is one of them. You don't buy garbage quality parts for your Buick. Don't trust your life to unreliable firearms.

This has been a public service announcement ;)
