That's sound good! Was that there biggest or smallest thumper? I talk to an old time Buick racer and engine builder a while back and he said those cams were junk. I was going to put one in a 350 but he has talked me out of it so far. I would really like to know if that cam makes more power than stock which I think it should. I just might try one just to see. If it dont it will still sound bad ass on the street!

I went with the mildest Thumpr. It'll definitely make more power than stock, that's for damn sure. Is it the best possible grind for performance? Probably not, especially the 107* LSA. I went with the Thumpr because I knew it would fit inside a stock motor without any clearance issues. I wanted to be able to drop in it and haul ass. And it does that very well. Plus you wouldn't believe how many looks I get idling through shows and cruise ins. Nobody has seen a big Buick sound like that.

I get the same thing with that 70 GS 455 that I race with that 7xr Kenne Bell cam. It's huge for hydraulic and it's got stock compression. I showed my mom that video and she said she used to have a 62 with a 300 in it. Well I'll try the biggest one in the 350 and see how it does. Make sure you put the video on here when you take it to 6000 RPM's and burn rubber when you hit 2nd gear!

That's going to be a HUGE cam in a 350. It'll sound mean but it'll be a bitch to tune unless you've got supporting mods, lots of converter, and low gears.

People say the Thumpr's suck for performance but I'm a happy customer.
