I Know that, but there's a lot to the that story. I don't want to go there, a machine shop was involved. If there was a rant thread i'd tell it all, lots of wasted $****. It's not converter. It's tuning and compression ratio for a 275/285 cam

So I just wound up getting lifters so I'll have them if i go the cam route later. at some point we may go 200-4r for the OD and some 3.73 gears, but for now, just trying to get her running and driving well. I did the whole V8, OD and Posi 373 conversion in my Falcon and know what's involved, so gonna keep it closer to stock for now. Thanks for all the advice guys. Gonna finish flushing the engine, block the exhaust crossover in the manifold and button it back up and see how she does.

I looked, but didn't see a place for it in the forum, feel free top refer me the correct location, but I'm wondering the interchange on the B U I C K letters for my 69 skylark hood and trunk. Are they the same for 65? How many different styles are there? I've got a few interchange manuals, but non really list trim like that. Thanks.

the vvt ls actually do have good low end. only one ive seen you dont have to rev to the moon. had a 6.0 vvt truck and that motor was impressive. still rather have the buick engine just making conversation.
