The magazine photo and photo of my GSX are both California emissions cars still built in Flint. They used some unique parts not easily found. Even the charcoal canister is different from 71 and later units. It had 3 ports in 70 with middle one capped off and a 3/8” hose going to the air cleaner. Very visible.
I'm happy that my Stage 1 4-sp. has disk Brakes (manual steering, no A/C), but my old stripper 350 4-sp. (no options really, alum. intake, & BBB alum drums, so pretty light) with a 100% new brake system truly stopped excellent.
